Product Description
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 is a racing machine based on the production SLS AMG, which debuted in September 2009. Its long-nose, bobtail body design features gull-wing doors and a front-mounted 6.2-liter V8 engine. This particular racing car was entered into the 2012 Japan Super Taikyu Series of endurance races by the Petronas Syntium Racing Team. The team impressively took five consecutive wins at the start of the season on its way to claiming the championship title.
This is a Ready to Run Expert Built R/C car of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3. The product is a result of Tamiya’s expert builders assembling the kit from Tamiya’s factories. Each kit is hand built, painted and finished so the user may enjoy Radio Control action right out of the box. All you need is AA batteries for the controller and your choice of battery pack and charger (sold separately). The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 body is mounted on Tamiya’s entry level TT-01ES full-time 4WD chassis platform. The XBS SPORT platform is Tamiya’s basic entry level platform, but can be outfitted with any of the Option Parts available for the standard TT-01 E chassis.
